Applications are now being accepted for the Tampa Oratorio Singers 2026 Vocal Scholarship. It is open to any talented Bay Area high school, college and graduate students who excel in vocal performance.

Prepare an aria from Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elijah or Mozart's Requiem . An accompanist will be provided.

Once accepted, singers are expected to attend weekly rehearsals on Monday evenings (and occasionally other days/times for dress rehearsals) from mid-August through May.

Singers are responsible for providing proper concert attire as well as paying dues and music costs.

Who ARE THE Tampa Oratorio Singers
We are an auditioned concert chorus, comprised of talented volunteer singers from all walks of life encompassing the entire Tampa Bay area, providing music lovers with the opportunity to perform and hear the music of the great choral masters.
