Mendelssohn's "Elijah"

Sun, Nov 3 2019

Felix Mendelssohn's "Elijah" is an oratorio based on the Biblical stories about the prophet Elijah from the Old Testament books of Kings I & II. Completed in 1846, "Elijah" is Mendelssohn's most popular composition and one of the few 19th-century oratorios still performed today.
The Tampa Oratorio Singers performed "Elijah" with orchestral accompaniment and professional soloists.
